The purpose of this research work is to determine the level of influence of transformational leadership in decision making within the National Police of Perú police stations. In this way, the district of San Juan de Lurigancho was defined geographically and all the research was carried out in the operational areas of the police stations. A non-experimental transactional and cross-sectional investigation was conducted with a mixed approach; that is, for the present investigation the research variables will not be manipulated (X: Leadership / Y: Decision Making) and the information of a single period was collected, 2019. Quantitative and qualitative tools were used with a sample of eleven police stations district; 637 police officers surveyed, and eleven commanders and generals interviewed. The results of the research show that transformational leadership does influence decision-making in operational processes within the police stations of San Juan de Lurigancho in 2019. The analysis of the surveys and the data from the interviews reject the null hypothesis raised and allows us to confirm the title of our research. Finally, it is suggested that the leaders of the police stations be monitored further, in addition to giving them leadership, attitude and teamwork coaching talks.
