Affective bonding of working mothers and children with ADHDAbstract
La presente investigación explora la interacción que las madres trabajadoras tienen con sus hijos que presentan TDAH con la finalidad de entender el vínculo afectivo entre ellos. Se realizó un estudio cualitativo de carácter fenomenológico, donde se entrevistaron a 6 madres que laboran en la ciudad de Lima y tienen un hijo que presenta TDAH. Para recolectar la información se utilizó una guía de entrevista semiestructurada. Para el análisis de los resultados, la información se sistematizó en cinco ejes temáticos que emergieron de la data. Los resultados revelan que hay una interacción con sentimientos de culpa, preocupación y agotamiento en la madre con su hijo. Esta investigación brindará información actualizada acerca de la vinculación entre madres y sus hijos con TDAH en la población peruana con la expectativa de constituir un recurso con base empírica para futuros planes psicoterapéuticos y para tomar mejores decisiones sobre pautas de crianza.This research explores the interaction that working mothers have with their children who have ADHD in order to understand the affective bond between them. A qualitative study of phenomenological character was carried out, where 6 mothers who work in the city of Lima were interviewed and have a son who has ADHD. To collect the information a semi-structured interview guide was used. For the analysis of the results, the information was systematized in five thematic axes that emerged from the data. The results reveal that there is an interaction with feelings of guilt, worry and exhaustion in the mother with her child. This research will provide updated information about the relationship between mothers and their children with ADHD in the Peruvian population with the expectation of constituting an empirically based resource for future psychotherapeutic plans and to make better decisions about parenting patterns.
