They examine theinterconnectedness of the arts as well as a general overview of the philosophy and activities of suchart forms as painting photography sculpture literature and architecture. In addition to participating inclass discussions completing short exercises and writing short essays students are required tocomplete a termlongresearch project concerning a specific art form. The topic of the research projectis to be chosen in consultation with the Instructor.Course PrerequisitesCOMM 1001: Contemporary Communications
