This research project analyzes the study on the measurement of efficiency in MYPES of consulting service, with the application of Data Envelope Analysis (DEA) to a real case, it shows how the technique allows to identify the units as efficient and inefficient, and determine what variables (inputs and outputs) are affecting the efficiency, and based on the result, fix goals or objectives for inefficient units. The results are expected to be useful to provide a basis for future research on how to assess the efficiency measurement, and the application of the technique according to their specific needs and requirements. As a conclusion, the regular application of the DEA technique would allow monitoring the impact of improvement actions on the units found as inefficient, so that companies achieve greater efficiency in their processes or services.
