Since 3D printers appeared, there have been and evolution, both from the machines to print, as well as the materials that can be used to create the final results. In that sense, the applications are increasing, due not only to the variety of results, but also based on the lower cost of inputs and access to various technologies, such as open source software, scanners, drones, among others. Applications vary from very resistant pieces, to unthinkable things, like the printing of groceries, in that sense, we are facing a major change at a technological level. This however, is not new and has as a whole maturation process to enter all the segments. Mining companies in Peru invest part of their budget in research of new technologies, but always with the care of not risking too much their productive processes, because if there is some production stop, they will have significant losses for all those interested, whether direct or indirect. After conducting some interviews and learning about the mining industry, it can be noted that entering the mining sector will depend on the joint work of both the 3D printing technology providers and the users of the mining companies that they can find in their areas ways to include this technology. It is important to draw a reliable route for this technology, so that it can enter with specific steps to the mining sector, without prejudice to the parties.en_US
