Se concluye que el CAF cuenta con adecuadas propiedades psicométricas en la muestra de estudioThe objective of the research was to report evidences of validity and reliability of the Physical Self-Concept Questionnaire (CAF) in dancers from Lima. 300 dancers of both sexes were evaluated (women 65.7% and men 34.3%) whose average age was 20.44 years (SD = 3.64). The evidence of validity related to the internal structure of the CAF was verified through the exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis. In these analyzes three dimensions were found (Physical Abilities, Physical Condition and Physical Attractiveness) that explained a total variance of 52.74%, the original structure of the questionnaire was not maintained. In the confirmatory analysis, the oblique three-factor model presented acceptable goodness-of-fit indices (GFI = .88, CFI = .89, RMSEA = .066). Regarding reliability, the questionnaire showed adequate Cronbach's alpha coefficients in a range of .73 to .84. In relation to the evidence of discriminant validity the I-SPANAS was used, where positive and significant correlations were found between the physical self-concept and positive affect; as well as negative and significant with negative affect. It is concluded that the CAF has adequate psychometric properties in the study sample
