The purpose of the study was to establish the relationship between the style of attachment and perfectionism in young university students in Lima. A correlation design was used that considered measurement tests and analysis of correlations between the dimensions under study. The sample consisted of 153 young people (52% men and 48% women) from a private university between 18 and 26 years old. For the measurement of the variables, the reduced version of the Cartes questionnaire, Modèles Individuels de Relation (CAMIR-R) and the Multidimensional Perfectionism scale (MPS) was used. The results confirm a significant relationship between the dimensions of attachment and perfectionism, which is associated in a negative way with secure attachment, and positive with the worried, avoidant and disorganized.
