The purpose of this thesis project is to provide a contract mining company with a management control system for sustainable growth through guidelines for continuous improvement. To do this, an analysis was made of both the micro and macro environment, which allowed finding the root cause, identify and quantify the losses generated in all aspects, either in the area of results, processes, customers and people. As well as, the objectives, growth and management mechanisms. That is to say, it was possible to verify the current situation of the company, also contemplating the competitors of the field, market growth, customer and project analysis. After solving the incidents identified, the best management control mechanism was determined, focused on an annual self-assessment questionnaire, a balanced scorecard and a monitoring system which will allow the company to reduce its economic losses and be sustainable over time. The application of this system, not only managed to recover the losses, but also it was achieved awareness in the collaborators in the continuous improvement impacting on their daily tasks, making their processes more fluid and in less time. Finally, this project provides conclusions and recommendations for the implementation of this proposal.
