Descubrir qué obstáculos dificultan a las pymes en su inserción al comercio electrónico local en el sector de manufactura de Lima Metropolitana. Al respecto, se realizó la investigación con entrevistas a profundidad a veintiocho personas, a través de las cuales se pretende determinar los principales impedimentos que tienen para desarrollar el modelo de negocio del comercio electrónico. Entre la muestra se tuvo a empresarios pymes, expertos y conocedores en el rubro de comercio electrónico, un experto legal en e-business y clientes. Se concluyó que los empresarios deben contar con mayor capacitación y esfuerzo en el tema de marketing digital, así como potenciar su gestión mediante herramientas e indicadores que conlleven a maximizar sus operaciones de venta.Tries to discover what obstacles hinder PYMES in their insertion to local electronic commerce in the manufacturing sector of Metropolitan Lima. In this regard, the research was conducted with in-depth interviews with twenty-eight people, through which it is intended to determine the main impediments they have to develop the business model of electronic commerce. Among the sample were PYMES entrepreneurs, experts and experts in the field of electronic commerce, a legal expert in e-business and customers. It was concluded that entrepreneurs should have more training and effort in the digital marketing theme, as well as enhance their management through tools and indicators that lead to maximize their sales operations.
