El desarrollo de esta tesis se sustenta en un principal problema que se define a continuación: “EL TIPO DE CAMBIO Y SU EFECTO MULTIMONEDA EN UN OPERADOR TURISTICO EN EL PERÚ”, Esta investigación ayuda a analizar el riesgo al que está expuesta la empresa que forma parte de este sector por la volatilidad del efecto del tipo de cambio en las cuentas del pasivo. Se ha efectuado una investigación inicial acerca de las herramientas existentes, mismas que no son utilizadas por este sector para cubrir posibles pérdidas producto de las variaciones de los tipos de cambio Dólar frente a las monedas de América del Sur. La tesis recomienda alternativas de solución para minimizar el riesgo cambiario de la empresa, el uso de un derivado financiero llamado Forward de Tipo de Cambio, que consiste en un contrato a la medida de las necesidades de cobertura cambiaria de la empresa que es pactado con entidades bancarias locales. A través del presente trabajo de investigación se lograron identificar las causas que influyeron negativamente en las transacciones de los Operadores Turísticos y se recomiendan las soluciones para revertir este problema.The development of this thesis is based on the main problem that is defined as follows: "THE EXCHANGE RATE AND ITS MULTIMEDIA EFFECT ON A TOURISM OPERATOR IN PERU". This research helps to analyze the risk to a company in this sector as it is exposed to exchange rate volatility in liability accounts. An initial investigation has been carried out on the existing tools, which are not used by this sector to cover possible losses because of the variations of the dollar exchange rates against the currencies of South America. The thesis recommends alternative solutions to minimize the exchange risk of the company, the use of a financial derivative called Exchange Rate Forward, which consists of a contract tailored to the exchange coverage needs of the company that is agreed with entities Local banks. Through the present research work, the causes that negatively influenced the transactions of the Tour Operators were identified and the solutions to revert this problem are recommended.
