  • Modelo de procesos de apoyo para la empresa virtual Quality Services

    En el transcurso de los últimos cinco años, el número de pequeñas y medianas empresas (MyPES) ha incrementado sustancialmente, con respecto a las empresas de gran capital, teniendo la participación de 99.6% en el Perú y participando en un 40% del Producto Bruto Interno (PBI) del territorio nacional . Este crecimiento constante genera nuevos retos para dichas organizaciones los cuales son brindar la misma calidad de sus bienes o servicios en un tiempo menor al de los competidores lo cual llama a que sus procesos de negocio sean constantemente revisados y mejorados. Lamentablemente las MyPES hacen uso de procesos de negocio sin documentación (basados en la experiencia) y de ejecución manual ocasionando, a futuro, que dichos procesos no puedan ser mejorados en el tiempo e impidiendo que puedan ser migrados a herramientas tecnológicas que permitan una eventual optimización de recursos (costos, personal, tiempos) . Teniendo en cuenta esto y siguiendo de los talleres de proyectos profesionales de la Escuela de Ingeniería de Sistemas y Computación de la Facultad de Ingeniería de la Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas – UPC, el presente proyecto brinda un modelo de mejora y automatización de procesos para pequeñas empresas (MyPES) que ha sido desplegado en una empresa MyPE enfocada la gestión de proyectos, con las mismas problemáticas de una MyPE habitual, anteriormente indicadas, con la finalidad de demostrar los beneficios obtenidos al implementar dicho modelo.

  • Efectos de la implementación de un sistema de costeo para MYPE del sector textil de prendas de vestir en Gamarra

    Identificar los efectos del impacto que genera la implementación de un sistema de costeo en las micro y pequeñas empresas (MYPE), específicamente las MYPES del sector textil de prendas de vestir en Gamarra. Por tal motivo, desarrollamos esta investigación con el fin de ayudar a las MYPES a que alcancen una mejor organización en la determinación de sus costos, dándoles a conocer que la aplicación correcta de los conceptos contables permite mejorar la gestión de la empresa. Nos enfocamos en las MYPES del sector textil de prendas de vestir ubicadas en Gamarra, porque consideramos que, además de ser un sector importante dentro de la industria del país en la actualidad no existe un estudio que oriente a las MYPES a administrar de manera ordenada sus costos y a determinar su margen de ganancia de una manera apropiada.

  • La Norma Internacional de Información Financiera 4: “Contrato de Seguros” Prueba de adecuación de pasivos aplicada al ramo de rentas vitalicias

    La presente investigación fue realizada con la finalidad de evaluar si los requisitos planteados por la Norma Internacional de Información Financiera (NIIF) 4 “Contratos de Seguros” para el desarrollo de la prueba de adecuación de pasivos son suficientes para una correcta evaluación de las reservas técnicas. Asimismo, dada la gran variedad de productos esta investigación se enfocó en los productos del ramo de rentas vitalicias ya que son productos que afectan directamente a todas las personas que aportan a una AFP, y porque en determinado momento todos podrían recurrir a la adquisición de un producto de este ramo. La NIIF anteriormente mencionada es aplicable para los ejercicios anuales que comiencen a partir del 1 de enero de 2005. Esta norma exige que la entidad aseguradora evalúe, en cada fecha de balance, la adecuación de los pasivos derivados de contratos de seguro que haya reconocido, es decir realice la prueba de adecuación de pasivos, utilizando las estimaciones más actuales de los flujos de efectivo futuros procedentes de los contratos en vigor. Si la evaluación mostrase que el importe en libros de sus pasivos derivados de contratos de seguro no es adecuado, la diferencia entre ambos importes deberá reconocerse en el resultado del ejercicio. Como se puede observar, la norma no establece mayores requisitos sobre la metodología que las compañías puedan aplicar generando que la mayoría de las compañías, por cuestiones prácticas, realicen la estimación de reservas técnicas por línea de negocio, sin considerar que cada producto, dentro de cada ramo, posee una naturaleza distinta y por ende amerita que se realice un análisis individual. Se espera que la presente investigación sirva como base de conocimiento de los escenarios que se pueden presentar al enfocar la prueba de adecuación de pasivos por ramo y por producto del ramo de rentas vitalicias. Para validar y sustentar las hipótesis planteadas se utilizaron instrumentos cualitativos como entrevistas a profundidad realizadas a expertos en el sector y a miembros de reconocidas firmas de auditoría que se enfocan en revisiones de compañías pertenecientes al sector de seguros. Finalmente, se desarrolló un caso práctico en el cual se podrá ver reflejado los resultados bajo dos escenarios. El primer escenario se enfocará en el análisis de la aplicación de la prueba de adecuación de pasivos por ramo. Por otro lado, en el segundo escenario se podrá ver reflejado el análisis que se propone, es decir por cada producto que compone al ramo.

  • Los Estados Financieros y su impacto en la toma de decisiones financieras de las pequeñas empresas rurales de la región Cajamarca

    El presente trabajo de investigación busca analizar el impacto que tienen las decisiones financieras de las pequeñas y medianas empresas rurales de la región Cajamarca, en sus estados financieros. Además de ello, que busca analizar los factores que influyen en las tomas de decisiones de las empresas explicadas en el párrafo anterior, y bajo qué normas contables realizan los estados financieros. Para el desarrollo de la investigación se ha tomado como referencia las normas internacionales de información financiera para las pequeñas y medianas empresas (NIIF para las PYMES) y las metodologías respecto al proceso de toma de decisiones. Asimismo, se ha visto necesario investigar respecto a estas pequeñas y medianas empresas para conocer las principales características de este sector. Asimismo, la investigación aplica los conceptos desarrollados en un caso práctico donde se detalla a través de un análisis las implicancias de las NIIF para las PYMES y como estas influyen en el proceso de toma de decisiones. Por todo ello, esta investigación busca determinar si los estados financieros influyen positivamente en el impacto de las tomas de decisiones financieras para las PYMES rurales de la región Cajamarca; además de concluir si los factores que influyen en la determinación y toma de decisiones impacta positivamente a dichas empresas.

  • Internacionalización de las empresas de Catering en el sector aerolíneas en el Perú: Caso Gate Gourmet

    La presente investigación tiene por objetivo establecer y determinar las principales estrategias de internacionalización de las empresas dedicadas al rubro de catering aéreo en el país. Al ser este un rubro altamente competitivo, se espera conocer cuales conforman las principales estrategias que aseguran éxito y participación de estas en el mercado. Para el logro de ello, se desarrolló un análisis y estudio de caso, en base a una de las principales empresas con mayor participación en el rubro de catering aéreo. A partir de un detallado análisis a Gate Gourmet Perú S.R.L, empresa líder del sector y parte de la corporación Gategroup, se espera poder identificar las principales características de esta empresa y encontrar todos los factores y variables que influyen en su gestión, con la finalidad de alcanzar el éxito en el mercado en que operan. De esta forma, se pretende también poder conocer cuáles son los principales aspectos a considerar de por qué este rubro recurre a la constante innovación y estudio de mercado para asegurar su éxito. El catering en aerolíneas no solo conforma el abastecimiento y suministro de alimentos a bordo, sino que para el óptimo desarrollo de este servicio, se requiere de una exhaustiva investigación acerca del entorno en el que se opera, las necesidades existentes en el mercado y el mejor proceso de producción y calidad requerido para su eficiente abastecimiento regular en las principales aerolíneas peruanas.

  • Evaluación de la morfología condilar en patrones esqueléticos clase II y clase III

    Objective: Evaluate condylar morphology in patients with skeletal pattern class II and class III. Materials and methods: CT scans of 124 patients (18 to 30 years) were evaluated. They were divided into 2 groups according to the skeletal pattern (class II and class III). Skeletal patterns were classified by measuring the ANB angle of each patient. The antero-posterior diameter of the right and left mandibular condyle was assessed from a sagittal view by locating points A and P to obtain a distance in mm. On the other hand, the coronal plane allowed to evaluate the medial-lateral diameter where the points M and L were drawn to obtain in the same way a measurement in mm. Results: Significant differences were found in the mid-lateral diameters between class III and class II.The measures were higher in those class III. For class II, the right mid-lateral diameter presents an average of 17.94 ± 2.68 and the left one of 17.67 ± 2.44, while for class III the average found for the right condyle was 19.16 ± 2.75 and the left one 19.16 ± 2.54. Conclusion: It was found that the medial-lateral diameter of patients with skeletal class III is higher than those of class II.

    The research project "Semantic Web" has the objective to propose a data storage model with parameters derived from the information in the social networks of university using the technology of the same name. If it is true, there are various storage models or ontologies related to social networks, but they lack parameters identified in a social and university context, or just contemplate one context or have parameter. So this model integrates these two previously contexts solving inadequate organization, overload and heterogeneity of information on the web. To perform this project, it is realized an exploratory research, whose aim is to discover and make an overall analysis of the Semantic Web technology and also a Ontology Development 101 methodology for the design of the main objective: the ontology. In addition, contextual parameters that support the design of the storage model in terms of the Semantic Web technology are identified and, then, benchmarking of possible semantic tools that are actually in the market is performed, which both support the model validation. The contribution of this work is the storage model called "Ontology of data from social networks university" which is based on the academic and social contexts. For these ontology, contextual parameters of location, activity, social network, relationships, events, friends, user link, album, page are defined; which then can be used in a deployment of Context Awareness to facilitate communication and information sharing between different entities or identified parameters.

  • Investigación de alternativas de reúso de aplicaciones para las empresas virtuales

    The main objective of the project is the implementation of an asset reuse management model in the virtual companies of the School of Systems and Computation Engineering (EISC). The proposed model helps IT SMEs to value the assets developed by their software factory or QA and reduce re-work in their creation, thus achieving efficient management through a catalog or repository to cover the needs of new projects oriented to software development and continuous improvement in the reuse processes. The first phase of the project consists of the analysis and research related to NTP-ISO / IEC 12207: 2006 and the IEEE 1517: 2010 standard, which allow us to have a software life cycle reference framework and the Reuse of this. The investigation of this standard corresponds mainly to the main processes of the software life cycle (5.4 Operation, 5.5 Maintenance), to its support processes (6.1 Documentation and 6.2 Configuration Management) and to its organizational processes. Also, it is oriented to investigate the documentation, functionality and components of the deployed applications and active existing in the virtual companies to evaluate the current situation of these. The second phase of the project consists of the design of the Asset Reuse Management Model based on the aforementioned ISO and standard and its implementation on the IT Expert virtual company, which is supported by technological tools that fulfill the function of repository and / or asset catalog that are aligned to the needs of the company. The validation of this model is done by indicators that reflect the result of the reuse in the company, which allows to identify the improvements in the model and its continuity.

  • Modelo de procesos para el seguimiento de proyectos de it consulting soportado por una solución de task management

    The School of Engineering of Systems and Computing of the UPC during the last cycles of the careers of Information Systems Engineering, Software Engineering and Computer Science has defined a scheme of virtual companies which simulate the environment of the current labor market where the students develop a thesis project to be able to graduate in which they apply all the knowledge acquired during their professional training. The people responsible for managing the virtual companies should guide the project managers so they can fulfill the objectives that have been outlined in addition they should provide them the necessary tools and means of communication for this. However, the number of projects per company increases considerably as well as the challenges and activities that must be fulfilled by project managers, which has led to project monitoring being a task that demands more time and dedication to have a vision of all the progress and a clear assessment of the situation of each project. This project implements a process model aligned to the specific needs of the company to organize, manage and control teams, projects and documentation in a single tool allowing users to access from their platform through the internet to their projects, tasks and information. Processes are proposed, being duly defined to speed up and reduce times, so they can be supported by the Task Management tool chosen according to specific criteria through rigorous research and evaluation. This model allows a greater vision of the advances and agreements between the company manager and the project managers, eliminating documents such as the work plan, the control of meetings of the manager teacher and having access to the repository periodically to verify if there is evidence for the progress of each project.

  • Implementación de un cuadro de mando de los procesos internos de las empresas virtuales

    The School of Systems Engineering and Computer Science at the Peruvian University of Applied Sciences (UPC) offers professional development workshops applied to virtual companies for development projects for the students of the last cycles of the Engineering Information Systems and Software Engineering. Because of the magnitude of projects, students, teachers and resources, the information generated in the dynamics of the workshops turns out to be vital for managing the performance of all involved, but has not been taken control and monitoring on the information generated, leaving a lack of exploitation of information of the processes virtual enterprises, as well as general information about the workshops, eventually causing season to season not evidenced of the results to make decision for improve the workshops of the EISC. That is why the purpose of this project is the implementation of a model of control and monitoring of indicators of internal processes of virtual enterprises, with emphasis on evidence of performance indicators and operability that reflect the actual state of the workshops EISC order to establish a continuous improvement plan based on the results. The final deliverable of the project is a scorecard of indicators of internal processes of virtual companies EISC for assessing results of the workshops.

  • Valorización del precio de la acción de la compañía minera Cerro Verde S.A.A.

    El objetivo del presente trabajo es poder determinar mediante el análisis fundamental (proyección de flujos de efectivo traídos al valor presente, mediante un factor de descuento) si el precio de la acción listada en la Bolsa de Valores de Lima (BVL), de la Compañía Minera Cerro Verde S.A.A, se encuentra correctamente valuada o asignada. Como se verá más adelante, diversos analistas del sector (ver cuadro 1) recomiendan vender la acción, bajo el supuesto de que el precio estaría sobrevaluado. Esta recomendación podría presionar el precio de la acción a la baja, si la oferta llegara a superar la demanda. Es por ello, que se considera relevante la valuación propia de su acción con el fin de determinar debidamente la decisión correcta.Para ello, se trabajará el metodo de Flujos descontados, especificamente la valuación a través de flujo de caja libre.

    Corruption is an unethical and illegal act, it is an abuse carried out by a person with decisive power in a public or private sector, which seeks to have some degree of influence in the decision making of the business to benefit himself or herself. There are various types of corruption, causes and consequences that affect the economy of a country, business in progress and investment projects. Valuation of investment projects is based on finding the NPV and the analysis of projections of future cash flows, discounted at an appropriate rate, which has two basic components: the risk-free rate (Rf) that Takes into account the value of money over time and a risk premium that compensates for the additional risk of the investment. A key factor that is within the risk premium is the corruption factor, to determine if this factor has a preponderance in the project evaluation, it analyzes several cases in the same industry, raising the risk premium, and keeping other factors constant, In this way we obtain the variation of the NAV with respect to the risk premium.

    The present thesis entitled "The study of the differences between men and women in leadership styles and their effect on access to management positions in Nexsys del Perú SAC", identifies in which type of leadership are people who hold management positions according to the Managerial Grid Model. The study corresponded to a quantitative approach, at a descriptive, prospective and transversal observational level. The methods used were the Blake & Mouton survey, and a self-adapted questionnaire, which allowed us to have a focus on gender differences in leadership styles and to find out the fundamental reason for access to management positions in the organization. The applied tools were carried out using a population of eighteen people in managerial positions between twenty-four to sixty years of age, working; and having as manager, from one month to eight years. The particularity of the investigation is that it is a company where 61.11% are women and 38.89% are men, with more than half women, including the General Manager. Taking into account the latest reports from the National Institute of Statistics and Informatics, the social situation or social variables, so that women do not work in the management of an organization, in the case of Nexsys del Perú SAC, does not apply because there are more women than men in management positions, discarding that custom that only men lead in organizations.

  • Estudio cuantitativo del impacto de las capacitaciones organizacionales en la productividad y la retención del personal basado en el servicio de Effectus Fischman Consultores en un banco peruano de microfinanzas en el año 2016 Lima - Perú

    Staff training is a key factor for the organizations’s development; despite its importance and impact on business results, this is rarely done strategically and much less is measured in depth. Also, it is known that the worker's performance is related to the skills that they have, for that reason the importance of developing and reinforcing them. In addition, increasing competition in the market requires companies to have trained personnel, who could respond to the changing environment and help generate competitive advantages. For this reason, the present document is based on a quantitative study carried out for Effectus Fischman Consultores, a human resources consulting firm, that dictated a program of "Leadership 360º" in 2016 to a company of the Peruvian financial sector; in which the impact of organizational training on worker satisfaction, productivity and staff retention was determined through a satisfaction survey of the participants, an analysis of the initial and final comparison of a 360º leadership assessment conducted at those trained in soft skills and a review of the impact on staff turnover indicators, respectively. In other words, a quantitative analysis was conducted in a comprehensive and detailed way to determine the impact of organizational training on productivity and retention of staff based on the Effectus Fischman Consultores service in a Peruvian microfinance bank in 2016 in Lima - Peru.

    Corporate Governance consists in the way that an organization is ruled or managed, and its objective is to generate value to its shareholders and investors, so for all its stakeholders as well. A suitable model is reached when it exists a balance between the direction of the Enterprise and the good performance of it (Confecámaras, 2016). The concept of corporate governance is broad, so our study case focuses in two areas: the intern communication of it to the workers and the creation of value for the Company. Aeropuertos Andinos del Perú S.A. is a peruvian-argentinian Enterprise, which is in charge of the concession of the administration of five airports in Peru. The present investigation has as an objective to analyze the relationship between the effective communication of the Corporate Governance’s principles to the workers and its impact in the value of the organization. In order to collect the pertinent information for this study, workers were surveyed to know the perception that they have of the organizational communication, and depth interviews with Managers to understand better the current policies from a managerial point of view. Among the most striking conclusions, there is a problem of internal communication, mostly due to the physical distribution of the enterprise in six different provinces. Likewise, it was verified that the company’s value depends on the effective communication of the principles of Corporate Governance to its employees, as it aligns the objectives and strengthens the compromise with the company.

  • Propuesta de modelo de gestión corporativa para una empresa familiar del sector transporte público en Lima

    The research is oriented to the approach of a company of corporate management for familiar companies of the sector of transport, since to analyze this sector was found the necessity of the companies for the posing strategies that help them to be sustained in the time, because their operations do not perform efficiently and therefore do not allow them to grow in the market. Throughout this research was taken as reference to several authors in administrative subjects that allow to develop the theoretical framework, which serves as a basis to propose the proposal of corporate management model for a family business in business of public transportation in Lima. In addition, as part of the analysis of the sector, studies and informative data were consulted by the Ministry of Transport and Communications, the sector regulator, to have an accurate view of the area, as well as to observe the situation of public transport in the city and how they operate now. As for the company, the research group had contact with the general manager of San Antonio Company., which meets the fundamental characteristics for the development of the work. Finally, the project concludes that the company needs to carry out a proper corporate management, so it could take into account the proposed proposal with the aim of being able to be sustained over time and differentiate itself from the competition.

  • Propuesta de implantación de un modelo de gestión por competencias de liderazgo para los mandos medios y superiores de la empresa Josfel Iluminación S.A.C.

    The present work of professional sufficiency was made based on the information obtained from Josfel Iluminación SAC Company, which did not have a competency management model applied at the organization. The main objective was to generate an implementation proposal for leadership competences model for middle and senior position. We used a descriptive method taking 33 collaborators; in-depth interviews and a 360° evaluation were performed as the technical tools based on the methodology of Martha Alles, a specialist in researching and developing subjects on human resources, organizational behavior and competency management into organizations. By the evaluations results we obtained that such competencies as systematic and strategic vision and empowerment are not fully developed while competences as team management and trainer were well rated and developed. Based on methodology applied it was recommended once the gaps were founds by the analysis, human resource department should work and implement a competency management based on leadership. We conclude leadership is a key competence should have each worker into Josfel Iluminacion SAC Company so we proposed to make some modifications in their recruitment, selection, development and evaluation processes.

    Nowadays, social media has become an important and fast way for companies to promote their products and services, reaching to a great number of people. The use of social media, has changed the way of advertising, and has innovated the ways of doing it. At the same time, companies using social media have gain the advantage of being closer to their consumers, making it easier for the company to know their needs, their profiles and also to interact with them. This study of Professional Sufficiency is oriented to demonstrate that the use of Facebook was the most effective way for the microenterprise “Los Sanguchones de Kike” to obtain new customers. The theoretical base was established by using the following concepts: digital marketing, social media strategy, markets research and microenterprise. We setted the specific goals for the study, which consisted in (i) measuring how sales increase and (ii) product remembrance were strongly correlated to the interaction through the posts from their Facebook page, our last goal consisted in (iii) comparing the scope and the cost of this social media versus traditional marketing methods (i.e. flyers). In order to fulfill the aim of the study, we developed several types of research for each goal, with the purpose of obtaining relevant and substantial information. Having analysed our results, we were able to achieve our specific goals; hence, we also achieved our main goal; this means that we were able to demonstrate that the use of Facebook was the most effective way for “Los Sanguchones de Kike” to obtain new customers.

  • Impacto economico de la implementacion de los límites máximos de captura por embarcación en la industria pesquera del Perú entre los años 2005 hasta el 2014

    The fishing sector over the years has had phases of expansion and crisis that show that the problem of the industry is the oversizing of the fleet and plant, this led to the over exploitation of anchovy biomass and that the economic agents are less efficient in their operations. That is why, in 2008, Legislative Decree 1084 is enacted, through which it was established the new system of Maximum Limits of Capture by Vessel (MLCV), this regime comes into force in the first season of 2009 and which governs only anchovy intended for indirect human consumption (IHC), that is, for the anchovy that is used for the production of fish meal and fish oil. This standard introduced individual anchovy fishing quotas and allocated it to vessels already operating in this fishery, thereby eliminating the previous system, which set a global catch quota, which encouraged the "Olympic Race" to get as much of the resource as possible. In order to analyze the impact of Legislative Decree 1084, the present research proposes to evaluate the pre and post reform behavior of the sector, in order to demonstrate that overfishing was eliminated and that a better quality of the anchovy landings was generated. The results obtained after the investigation highlight the importance of the implementation of Legislative Decree 1084 in the fishing sector, presenting improvements in the ordering of the sector that is reflected in the development of the fishing industry

    The purpose of this research is to determine if it is feasible to use price policies based on the type of price elasticity of demand of Peru.21 for the period 2008-2015. Likewise, it seeks to demonstrate the existence of exogenous variables that may Affect the price and therefore the volume of sales of the newspaper under study. In addition, it reveals how the growth of internet access in the Peruvian market can affect the circulation of the newspaper Peru.21. In order to identify the relationship between daily circulation and price, the main theories that explain price elasticity are analyzed, revealing to what extent the variation of the price of a product can affect the amount demanded, as well Provides information on the market of the written press in Peru and how it has reacted to the rise of the internet. Then, the linear regression model is designed in order to explain the behavior of the dependent variable also called endogenous variable that is the circulation of the daily Peru.21 in function of the exogenous variables or denominated independent or explanatory as they are the annual historical price of the Newspaper Peru 21, advertising investment in the newspaper, advertising investment on the internet and internet access nationwide. In other words, the multiple linear regression model is performed in order to understand which variables are the most relevant and how they influence to a great extent the demand equation. Finally, some recommendations are considered to improve the marketing of the daily newspaper Peru.21 within the Peruvian newspaper market, which is constantly changing due to the rapid advance of technology in the media, with high expectations of growth in the market.
