      The present study postulates the existence of a low level of response, given for the growing demand for new hemodialysis services, different from those currently offered in Peru, as the main problem of the Centro Especializado de Enfermedades Renales SAC. This allows us to address some of the current problems that lead to this level of response. Also, analyze the current capacity, especially in terms of costs of the center to evaluate the results of the strategies they have carried out, with the purpose of proposing to improve on them and achieve a better relationship between the variety and the quality of the services. This purpose is achieved by making use of economic theory as organizational principle of work. This, through economies of scale and scope, will allow the business model to be reformulated; That is, increase the volume, through new services without sacrificing quality.

    • ¿Cómo la ley que prohíbe la publicidad en medios audiovisuales resolvió “El dilema del prisionero” para los productores de cigarrillos?

      This research work aims to solve the question of: How the Law prohibiting advertising in audiovisual media decided "Prisoner's Dilemma" for cigarette producers? To do this, we use theories in our research that can explain this situation, such as concepts like Game Theory, Nash Equilibrium and the Prisoner's Dilemma. On the other hand, as a methodology of research work, we will introduce a brief description of the historical context in which the industry of cigarette was in the United States in the 1970s. In this time medical researchers reported the harmful effects of tobacco consumption for the health. For this reason, the US government decided to take immediate and effective measures to protect the health of the population of the country by implementing the law banning advertising media to product measures. Analyzing the impact of this law in the tobacco industry, it is concluded that this law benefit companies in this industry since it generates savings in advertising and are constantly competing by getting tobacco consumers decide to consume another brand.

    • La curva de aprendizaje de la producción de catálogos Esika – BELCORP

      The learning curve is a management tool that determines the relationship between the time or cost of production of a unit and the accumulated quantity produced. The present research seeks to determine the level of the learning curve in the production process of Esika catalogs in Peru. Based on this purpose we collect information related to the costs and production volumes that will allow us to generate an economic model through which we can determine the learning curve. For this research a quantitative approach is used making use of an economic model to be able to determine and graph the learning curve and rate. In order to apply this model, data from 3 years of production are collected with 18 productive periods per year. The result of this simulation does not show that the learning rate of this productive process is currently equivalent to 99%, which means that learning is developing in this industry and that it can still perform productive efficiencies in the process.

      The present Assignment of Sufficiency Professional focuses on sustain how a correct design of a system of allocation and cost control allows to generate savings and helps to establish a correct price to generate an increase in the total contribution margin of a business.Throughout this assignment, three specific objectives have been validated, applying them to “Lavandería Sra. Washi” , a service company, which has almost two years of operation in the market and is currently classified as a modern enterprise in the laundry business , because it has a specialized service in function of the use of washing supplies (detergent, softener and perfume) according to the preference of the client. For the first specific objective, we identified the different costs and expenses in which the business incurs which were separated by subcategories, according to existing theories. After this, the second objective was achieved, which consisted on using the most appropriate costing system for the business to control and generate cost savings, for which it was validated, with different theories, that the costing system “By work orders” is the most appropriate to do so, by comparing real costs with standards costs. Finally, through the information and data collected from the business, a methodology could be established to readjust the price previously defined, and to make “Lavandería Sra. Washi” able to obtain a higher operating profit in the short term.

      The present Professional Sufficiency Work (TSP) aims to demonstrate that the effect of telework generates productivity in an organization; Which is backed by an effective training plan for a company in the education sector through the Blended Learning learning modality developed by the teacher as teleworking, comparing classroom and semi-blind classes (blended). The research used for the TSP has been descriptive, since the research is intended to describe the impact of teleworking; For which the use of qualitative and quantitative tools was used, through interviews and surveys respectively. Likewise, from the comparative analysis carried out on the face-to-face classes and on the blended classes, based on a relevant costing system, it is shown that the classes imparted in blended mode present higher productivity, since the expense incurred for dictating a semi-face class is lower, Which translates into the organization as a cost savings by providing the same service but with fewer resources. On the other hand, the training plan used by the Peruvian University of Applied Sciences (UPC) to teachers who perform telework, through the Blended Learning learning modality is fundamental for the achievement of the objectives proposed by the organization, since From this new mode of learning, the service offered to the students (clients) should not change in the quality standards in which the classes are taught in face-to-face mode; If not on the contrary to maintain and improve them.

      The purpose of this project it’s to prove development of an employability model and verify if this influences the retention of the administrative staff in the company OPP FILM SA. In order to conduct this analysis, proposed a research with descriptive designs, used research techniques such as surveys, in which the administrative staff participated, and had an interview with the company's Human Resources Manager. To obtain more information, the company provided documents which were thoroughly revised; this helps to make an analysis of the index and the costs of rotation It was concluded, through the surveys, that employability model influences the retention of the administrative staff and the employees value professional development by means of line career. On the other hand, the interview with the company's Human Resources Manager establishes Opp Film SA is working on an employability model, because the company determines that improve the professional development would help reduce employee’s rotation and increase their competitive level. Finally, it is recommended that Opp Film develops internal strategies such as the career line and internal recruitment, to improve the employability, thereby minimizing rotation costs.

      Nowadays, time is an essential resource in many businesses and a proper time management will efficiently improve the overall management of a company. A proper time management is based on prioritization of activities, which reduces their time, deletes extra activities or merges them to optimize the resources of an organization. In that case, the present investigation will demonstrate the importance of the operations management in reducing customer service’s time applied to a Food and Beverage company: La Panka. This is a restaurant chain of “Pollos and Brasas” with more than six years in the peruvian market and presents an aggressive expansion plan based on the franchise model. With this model, the company seeks the best way to standardize its processes and, currently, the best way to achieve this is to implement a system application that interrelates its activities. The managers of La Panka rely on the tools developed in the research that help to optimally interconnect operations within the company and promote a better programming of their processes.

      This research aims to demonstrate the relationship between the Organizational Culture of a company and the Corporate Image, as well as the influence of Culture on the Corporate Image. In order to achieve this objective, a textile company dedicated to the manufacture and marketing of baby clothing was used as a field of study. The work consists of the following structure: Chapter I details the previous studies, basically explaining the theory regarding Organizational Culture, Corporate Image and the Textile Sector in Peru. In Chapter II, the Research Plan is detailed, consisting of the problem, the hypotheses and the objectives. In Chapter III, the methodology used to gather information is explained, while Chapter IV proceeds to the development of the information, explaining the situation of the company and the industry. Chapter V then analyzes the information obtained through surveys, observations or other information. Finally, we present the conclusions and recommendations reached by means of the present investigation.

    • Medición de la gestión ejecutiva en la creación de valor para el accionista

      This thesis analyzes and evaluates the performance of the executive management of Lindley Corporation managers in the years 2014 and 2015. These periods are analyzed because is the first time in the company's history that the company changed from being a family company to being a company lead by a person outside the family. The first chapter shows the various theories regarding value creation and its concepts. It explains the importance of value-based management and the indicators usually used to calculate the value added, its benefits and deficiencies applied to the return for the shareholder. In the second chapter, the problem of value measurement for shareholders and the hypothesis of the thesis are established. In addition, it arises the general objective and specific objectives as well as the scope of the same ones. The following chapter details the methodology to be used to assess the value generated by each manager. In such a way, in Chapter IV, shows the results of the last year of Jhonny Lindley´s management and the first year of José Borda in the Corporation. Chapter V analyzes the main discoveries of the comparison of the two managements and evaluates the creation or destruction of value for shareholders. Finally, conclusions and recommendations are written to further enhance Lindley's Corporation performance with respect to value-added generation.

    • Propuesta de iniciativa turística: Ñan Challwaq – recorriendo la ruta del pescado

      The objective of this Case Study is to design a preliminary Business Plan for a new company. This company is an innovative Tourism Agency, which aims to generate value by attending the growing demand for alternative adventure experiences in Cuzco City. This will be achieved through the implementation of a trekking route between Cuzco and Puerto Inka. We will start by defining the concepts and administration theory to be used. Up next, we evaluate the current situation, which includes a SWOT analysis of the tourism sector in order to understand why this business proposal is such an interesting alternative, with a lot of potential in the current conjuncture. The demand for alternative tourism options -both innovative and distant from the masses- is growing strong, and it’s matching with a Government willing to develop the sector, investing in infrastructure and promotion. Based on different bibliographical sources, depth interviews and field observation, we formulate our value offer under the Marketing Mix 4P methodology. Up next, we calculate the potential size of the market we are after, which shows good signs. We only need to achieve 6% penetration of the targeted market to operate at our full capacity of 780 tourists per year. Finally, the third objective is a financial evaluation in order to determine the viability and the estimated payback of the project. This is a preliminary study, which needs to be further investigated and compared with other investment alternatives. The result of this study reaffirms the interest in bringing the old Ñan Challwaq path to value.

      FINO SABOR es un proyecto de negocio que consiste en la creación y comercialización de un complemento alimenticio. Este producto se distingue por dos propuestas de valor, por una parte, sus beneficios nutricionales para la salud humana, y por otra, los beneficios medioambientales en el aprovechamiento de las cáscara de café orgánica , que actualmente es tratada como un desecho, contaminando y afectando la salud de la población rural peruana. Esta idea de negocio nace como respuesta a la necesidad de contar en el mercado con productos saludables, con valores nutritivos diferenciales y de fácil preparación. FINO SABOR tiene ideado un plan de acción basado principalmente en la comunicación en redes sociales (facebook) y pagina web lo cual permitirá llegar al público objetivo. El equipo de trabajo que ha elaborado el proyecto FINO SABOR está conformado por estudiantes del último ciclo de las carreras de Administración de Empresas, Negocios Internacionales y Administración y Finanzas quienes han volcado todos sus conocimientos y experiencia en esta propuesta de negocio. Es importante mencionar que el equipo está orientado a brindar un servicio de calidad a los clientes, y de esta forma lograr la fidelización de los mismos. Nuestro proyecto FINO SABOR tiene un horizonte de evaluación de 5 años, y requiere de una inversión inicial de S/ 180,000, el cual cubre los gastos de implementación, y operativos iniciales. Se busca captar inversionistas que aporten el 40% del capital de trabajo, ya que la diferencia del 60% será aporte de los accionistas. El periodo de recuperación de la inversión está proyectado en 1.6 años después de iniciadas las operaciones. El nivel de rentabilidad está expresado en el valor presente neto (VPN) de S/ 138,092 y una tasa interna de retorno (TIR) de 54.84% según lo que se ha detallado en el plan financiero. Los ingresos por ventas tienen una tendencia creciente a lo largo del proyecto, llegando a superar los S/. 1,2 millones de soles en el año 5. La razón principal por la que el proyecto FINO SABOR es considerado viable es por el evidente crecimiento del mercado de productos naturales y orgánicos, cuya tendencia para los próximos 2 años es de 13% y en los últimos 2 años es de 16%. En segundo lugar, porque el modelo de negocio propuesto es realmente innovador, cuya aceptación y expectativa en el público objetivo durante el periodo de investigación ha sido muy grande. Por último, porque se trata de un modelo de negocio rentable y escalable tanto a nivel económico para la empresa, como a nivel financiero para el inversionista. En un mundo constantemente acelerado en donde cada vez el tiempo es menor para el cuidado de la salud, surge la propuesta de FINO SABOR, buscando promover hábitos de una alimentación saludable generando satisfacción en la necesidad mencionada. Los invitamos a conocer a detalle este negocio que tiene muy buenas perspectivas de crecimiento y consolidación en el sector de alimentos, que en su primera etapa se desarrollará en Lima Moderna y en un futuro cercano tenemos la convicción de que estaremos atendiendo nuevos mercado a nivel nacional.

      The present investigation was based on the management of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) as a means of maximizing productivity and profitability in companies certified with ISO 9001 and BASC in the ceramic sector of Peru using the case study of the company CERÁMICA LIMA SA (Celima). Also, it could be observed that the real problem is that in Peru organizations are handling correctly the CSR and the demonstration of evidence that there is no company of the ceramic sector that reality. Therefore, the research problem was solved by using the benchmarking tool to the leading companies in the Latin American ceramic market, in order to be able to collect the best Social Responsibility practices and analyze their implementation in Celima. Finally, research results suggest that the application of appropriate CSR management optimizes the value chain, which maximizes productivity and profitability for companies that have certificates such as ISO 9001 and BASC.

    • Voluntariado corporativo como una herramienta de Responsabilidad Social y su relación con la Satisfacción Laboral de los colaboradores de una empresa de servicios funerarios: Campo Fe en Lima en el 2018

      Mediante un cuestionario estructurado se encuestó a 54 consejeras (vendedoras) del área de ventas de Campo Fe, sede San Borja, residentes en Lima, con el propósito de determinar la relación entre el voluntariado corporativo como una herramienta de la responsabilidad social empresarial y la satisfacción laboral de los colaboradores de una empresa de servicios, en el 2018. Además se realizaron entrevistas a profundidad a cinco personas con cargo de supervisión. De acuerdo con los resultados podemos confirmar nuestro planteamiento y se pudo determinar que existe una relación de magnitud fuerte y positiva entre El Voluntariado como herramienta de responsabilidad Social y Satisfacción laboral en el orden de rs=0.786. De acuerdo con los resultados confirmamos que existe la relación entre el voluntariado corporativo como una herramienta de la responsabilidad social empresarial y los factores motivadores en los colaboradores de una empresa de servicios, la relación es fuerte y positiva rs=0.772. La relación es fuerte y positiva con la satisfacción laboral en el factor higiénico, rs=0.652. Se pudo determinar que existe una relación de magnitud fuerte y positiva entre El Voluntariado como herramienta de responsabilidad Social y Satisfacción laboral. Existe la relación entre el voluntariado corporativo como una herramienta de la responsabilidad social empresarial tanto en los factores motivadores como en los higiénicos, la relación es fuerte y positiva.
