  • Proyecto de mejora de los procesos de diseño y producción de un rack selectivo en una empresa del rubro metalmecánico

    El Proyecto Profesional fue desarrollado en la empresa JRM S.A.C, cuyo objetivo fue desarrollar una propuesta de mejora, basada en herramientas de ingeniería para contrarrestar los problemas evidenciados en la empresa en estudio. De esta manera, el presente documento se encuentra estructurado en 5 capítulos: En el capítulo 1, se presenta el Marco teórico, en el cual se explican los conceptos importantes para el entendimiento del proyecto. Abarca los conceptos de procesos de producción en una empresa metalmecánica, explicación de algunas herramientas de ingenieria y se define la filosofía de mejora, Manufactura esbelta, a emplear durante el desarrollo del proyecto. En el capítulo 2, se presenta el análisis y diagnóstico de la empresa, se empieza describiendo el sector y la situación actual de la organización. Posteriormente, se identifican los problemas que atraviesa, su impacto económico y las causas que lo originan. En el capítulo 3, se desarrolla detalladamente la propuesta de mejora elegida, la cual busca erradicar las causas raíces que originan los problemas evidenciados. Se muestran los resultados esperados y el cronograma de implementación de la propuesta. En el capítulo 4, se muestra la validación de la mejora propuesta, ésta consta de la aprobación de tres juicios de expertos, la validación económica y la presentación de tres casos de éxitos. En el capítulo 5, se analizan los impactos de la mejora frente a los Stakeholders, se explica cómo impactan los cambios a implementarse y los planes de acción para que todos los interesads se vean afectados positivamente. Finalmente, en el capítulo 6 se muestran las conclusiones y recomendaciones hechas a partir del presente proyecto, además de la bibliografía consultada y los anexos propios del documento.

    The research includes analysis of the market to which the proposed product is addressed, operational analysis, financial and impacts related to the resources necessary for the validation of the proposed business plan. The application of the research was made in Lima, the methodology used is qualitative and quantitative and includes the preparation of action plans for the correct execution of the pilot test. Finally, with the information obtained in the pilot test and in the impact analysis, it was concluded that the proposed business plan can be executed by implementing the proposed action plans to obtain a return of more than 30% with a return interest rate of 88.39%.

    Investigates the reality of a peruvian public educational institution calls Héroes del Cenepa, located in the district of La Molina in Lima, based on this, it contemplates tools to be established in a proposed strategic plan. This school has opportunities for improvement in the organizational climate, capacity for use, student satisfaction and achievement of results in census assessments. In the school, a training plan was implemented. It was carried out in order to improve the organizational climate, which was achieved. Also, a pilot plan was realized using the student-centered educational model to improve student satisfaction and, as the same time, obtain a greater number of satisfactory results in census evaluations. That was approved through a simulation of these. Finally, a marketing plan was proposed to be able to use the capacity of the school efficiently.
  • Propuesta de implementación del sistema de gestión de seguridad y salud en el trabajo en el área de producción de una empresa de fabricación de productos de plástico

    The main objective of the thesis is the development and implementation of the occupational health and safety management system (OHSMS), with the OHSAS as a reference, in conjunction with the application of the 5s methodology, with the aim of reducing the number of accidents within the organization under study and the decrease in medical care expenses due to these accidents and the projection of this savings for investment in occupational health and safety (OHS). In the first chapter the theoretical framework is developed to find the basic definitions in OSH and their application in all the work to be developed. In the second chapter, the description of the company is developed in relation to the sector in which it works, determination of the problem and its economic impact due to accidents at work and finally an analysis of the main causes among other points. In the third chapter, the proposal for the implementation of the safety and health at work management system is developed. Later, in the fourth chapter the implementation is validated analyzing the results of this and its social and economic impact, which is visualized in the fifth chapter. Finally, the positive validation of the implementation of the SGSST is given determining the conclusions and recommendations on the work developed.
  • Propuesta de mejora del proceso de aprovisionamiento de la empresa Multifoods S.A.C.

    This research project is oriented towards the supply chain management of Multifoods S.A.C. Supple Chain Management is composed of three aspects: purchasing management, storage and inventory management. The first chapter explained the methodologies and engineering tools that will be used in the research; After a brief description of the company is made, with the analysis of data of 13 months, it was determined that the main problem is the production plant stops because of the deficiencies in the supply (1216 hours); This increases the production costs. Subsequently, the improvement proposal and the tools that will be implemented are presented, Deming Wheel is the methodology which was applied in the investigation; the solution includes, a policy of supply, evaluation and approval of suppliers, define the frozen zone for the production program, implement ERI’s indicator, establish and standardize the procedures. Then the solution simulation was performed, where three scenarios are presented: pessimistic, normal and optimistic; in all cases, it is possible to minimize plant production stops by 83.3%, 50% and 16.7% respectively; however, in the economic validation, the optimistic and normal scenarios are the only ones that obtain a positive NPV; Below are the possible impacts, positive and negative; Finally, the recommendations for the implementation of the proposal are detailed.
  • Propuesta de un plan estrategico para la empresa Barletta S.A. que permita su crecimiento sostenible

    The purpose of this thesis project is to provide Barletta with a number of strategies that will contribute to its sustainable growth through a "Strategic Planning" proposal, in order to counteract the considerable decrease in profitability in the last year. An analysis of both the microenvironment and the macroenvironment was carried out to determine the causes of the main problem presented: reduced sales, employee dissatisfaction, poor publicity and promotion plan, limited coverage, and limited credit granting. After the analysis, it was determined that the best option for the company to achieve growth in its revenues is to migrate its approach from "business to business" to "businees to costumer". In addition, it was determined the impacts generated by the problem in fundamental aspects of the organization such as the economic aspect, processes, safety and health, and satisfaction of both internal and external clients. After making the diagnosis of the current situation of the company, several strategic matrixes were used, which allowed to form a range of strategies; Being the strategies of penetration and integration ahead the chosen ones and therefore those that are going to be used in the strategic planning. Following the choice of strategies, each cause of the problem was associated with the strategy that will allow it to be mitigated. In addition, training and communication plans were added to complement the strategies already mentioned, thus obtaining a strategic plan covering all the critical problems of the organization.
  • Mejoras en el proceso de prevención de accidentes de trabajo para una empresa constructora

    This thesis aims to develop improvements in the process of accident prevention work of a construction company in Peru. The project is divided into stages of diagnosis of the problem, formulation of the proposed improvement and validation. As a result of the first stage was identified as a problem to expenses caused by the occurrence of accidents in the works outside the normal range of the construction sector negatively impacting the profit margin of the works of the company, using the query theoretical sources and legal safety and occupational health and analysis tools cause was determined as main causes weak preventive culture, that risk analysis is not a task internalized by staff and the existence of information needs in the field of occupational health and safety unattended. Using the results of the first stage as a starting point, this thesis focuses on the implementation of a restructuring process accident prevention construction company under the premise of zero accidents based on the methodology of PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) as proposed solution. Finally, with respect to the validation stage, three success stories that support the proposed solution were found, profitable results were obtained shown in three different scenarios (optimistic, normal and pessimistic) and mostly positive impacts on stakeholders of the proposal. In conclusion, the problem identified in accident prevention process of the construction company is attackable and solvable by implementing a proposal focused on the culture of prevention, risk analysis and information flow.
