    Architectural project of a Public Library and Services in Independencia, specifically commerce and an office building. This originates on the basis of responding to a real problem, which is the lack of areas of recreation, education and culture in much of our city. As a consequence of these shortcomings, the citizen realizes that is necessary a space where these three points meet and form a good architecture, where people can access all the benefits and the knowledge considering that the evolution of technology has made that we need different spaces compared to what we needed years ago. For this reason we choose an architectural typology according to the time in which we live: The Library, central building of the thesis project.

    Research, proposal and conclusions of the Development Center for the Child and the Elderly, located in the District of Villa María del Triunfo. As an architectural project proposal, concepts and theories were investigated, national and international references were analyzed and there was a particular concern for users: children and vulnerable elderly people residing in the district.

    El Lugar de encuentro, reunión y culto para la comunidad judía del Perú es un proyecto ubicado en el distrito de San Isidro, en la ciudad de Lima, y comparte su terreno con el epicentro de la actual vida comunitaria: el colegio León Pinelo. Se trata de un centro comunitario que abarca en sus funciones las necesidades religiosas, educativas y sociales del usuario, y que cumple la doble función de elemento integrador: en primer lugar, entre los miembros de la comunidad judía de Lima; y en segundo lugar – y no menos importante- entre los miembros de la comunidad judía y la sociedad limeña. Como énfasis arquitectónico, se propone una arquitectura cargada de geometría y simbolismo que dotan al complejo de una identidad clara que saque a la comunidad del anonimato.

    The Coffee Dissemination Center in Quillabama is a project that seeks to promote Peruvian coffee, giving it the value it really deserves. Likewise, it has teaching workshops focused on the cultivation processes, exhibition rooms showing the varieties and benefits of coffee that are sown in Peru, tasting rooms differentiated by the sense with which it is perceived, coffee plantation and production area that allow to make the learning experience more direct between the user and the product; and as complementary environments contemplate bungalows, hotel services and auditorium. The adequate relationship with the context is fundamental in the project, since it is located in a natural environment, with the Vilcanota River as a visual front. Due to this, the project rescues the traditional architecture of the place and gives it value, as well as defining the location of the volumes to be articulated around open public spaces that are integrated with the vegetation.

    Design of a Community Center focused on population that suffers from social risk like the case of the people from Ventanilla district. It develops an integral proposal that integrates education, recreation, personal care, health and alimentation for kids cursing kinder garden, primary and high school. It also counts with functional workshops for teenagers and adults. The main object of the project is to improve the live quality of the users and bringing a support system for the parents who can’t take care of their children at certain hours of the day. The interior of the Center is formed by public use spaces like a dining area, a multipurpose room, a library, classrooms and a nursery. While the exterior counts with resting areas and a recreation zone with a playground for children, there’s also a park which functions as a land for cultivate, it drains and water works with a sustainable design. The design adapts the new sustainable currents, decreasing the energetic consume by implementing different architectonic solutions to stimulate the development of the user keeping it in a comfortable environment.

    The complex for Pisco tourism located in the district of Subtanjalla, Ica, Perú. The main purpose of this project is to solve different problems that wineries in the country have right now and exploit the potential that Pisco tourism has in Perú, creating a link between this and the typical landscape of the city by using an architecture that respects the natural landscape of the valley. The complex is composed mainly by a winery that produces only Pisco, to reinforce the production of this peruvian drink, a boutique hotel and a spa. Moreover, thinking about the innovative experiences and activities that will be offered to the users, complementary spaces are included, like a restaurant with an infinite view over the vines and reunion spaces, such as a big central square and a multipurpose room.

    The aim of this project is to design a school and a child-development center within a community that faces significant social challenges such as the city of Ventanilla. The focus will be on developing a comprehensive proposal that provides education, recreation, healthcare, and nutrition to children from pre-elementary to middle school (0 to 11 years old.) The main objective will be to improve the quality of life for the students and provide support for parents who cannot care for their children at certain times of the day. The child development center will be made up of a series of spaces for community use, such as a nursery, workshops, and therapy areas to name a few. The school section will have the elementary and middle school teaching areas, as well as several integrated spaces to accommodate a dining room, the library, an exhibition hall, and a multifunctional sports center. The proposed design will be a paradigm shift from traditional-education models and is based on incorporating the Montessori educational system to encourage children’s learning through the spatial continuity between classrooms and the common area, the corridor, and the outside. The common spaces, the exterior areas, and even the corridors will be integrated articulated-spaces designed to maintain a continuous balance with nature in order to create a stimulating environment for the children and to help foster beneficial social-relationships.

    To develop the "Interactive Museum of the Environment in Lurin", it refers to interactive museum museums in Peru and abroad. The place and its surroundings were studied exhaustively to determine the suitable terrain according to the parameters, physical, urban and climatic conditions. Historical and natural values ​​that served as triggers when developing the project were identified. The user was analyzed, understanding that social responsibility and respect for the environment should be instilled at an early age. The needs given to the spaces that, in turn, determined the program of the museum. It is an element of sustainable sustainability with what is exposed, incorporating technological aspects such as materials, construction systems and non-conventional technologies.

    El centro y residencia para el adulto mayor de San Vicente de Cañete es un proyecto integral, el cual alberga espacios cerrados y abiertos que contienen las actividades y los recursos para el usuario, con la idea de mantener el estado adecuado del cuerpo y la mente; y áreas verdes de encuentro con sus compañeros y la sociedad en general, con la finalidad de fortalecer la convivencia y el continuar con el apoyo al prójimo con el que se les caracteriza.

    Develop an Eye Institute in the south area of the city of Lima, Peru. Public health is still an issue in the country and there is a need for new hospitals that release the attention in the existent ones. Therefore, this research focuses on analyzing and solving the problems of the National Institute of Ophthalmology (INO) in Peru, in order to propose a new Institute that will work together with the INO, taking into account in the development of the thesis different points that influence the development of an architectural project.

    Research and compilation of information about a project named LRC (Learning resource Center) located at Historic Center of Lima, as well as its definition, scopes and referential projects, the development of the architectural program and the functional approach of the building. It also includes the motivations, as well as the theoretical, conceptual and historic frameworks. On the other hand, it tries to develop the conceptual aspects of a public library according contemporaneous aspects and understand its use in this era, explaining the design related to the functional approach of a LRC.

    Analyze the factors that make the proposal of a Development Center for people with ASD (Autistic Spectrum Disorder) in the district of San Juan de Miraflores, as well as architectural and theoretical issues for the base of the investigation. The user, to whom the project is directed, is a determining factor from the beginning since all the methods of architectural design are conditioned. The user's relationship with architecture and how it improves the quality of life, becoming a decisive therapeutic factor in the day to day of an autistic person. Due to this, the relationship of the curve and multisensory factors such as light, texture and color is proposed as project emphasis. The investigation is completed with the analysis of similar national and international projects, types of users, the educational regulation according to Minedu. As well as the choice of the ideal place where the development center will be located and the criteria that were taken into account for the design.

    Create a center for research, training and dissemination of chirimoya in Callahuanca, Huarochirí, to strengthen its productivity through agricultural research and training for farmers and producers in the area. The project will have diffusion spaces where the derivatives of this fruit will be promoted, and the passing tourists can learn and learn more about this fruit along a tour of the demonstration plots. The project is mainly defined by three main blocks: the first, where the training and research is developed, the second where the main public and recreational functions are developed, and finally the block destined for the accommodation of the scientists. The architectural proposal seeks to preserve from the vernacular knowledge, how the man was located in the territory, that is why, the best place is proposed according to the topography and conditions of the land, it is chosen to use materials from the area such as stone and wood, and a pleasant route is proposed, generating spaces that give comfort to the user.

  • Centro acuático y recreativo en el distrito de San Juan de Lurigancho

    The project includes an Aquatic and Recreational Center in the district of San Juan de Lurigancho. This district is the most populated in Lima, with more than 30% young people under 30 years old. The main objective is to provide facilities that comply with the corresponding regulations where children and young people learn to swim. Also, being the sports space the main focus of attention arises around this, indoor and outdoor public spaces where the visitor can also be. In this way, the sports spaces promote the use of public space for the inhabitant of the district. This way, it seeks to provide sports equipment and public spaces to be for the inhabitant of the district. The building is presented, on one hand, with a facade that is quite orthogonal and easy to identify. On the other hand, on the back where the urban scale decreases, greater fluidity can be distinguished between the interior and exterior, making the park more prominent.

    The Project consists of a Performing Arts Centre in the neighbourhood of La Balanza (Comas district) developed under the concept of "Multipurpose spaces for the training and promotion of the performing arts". It is an Architectural Project without precedents in Peru, given that unlike other centres, it is addressed for the benefit of a specific community, owner of one of the most important artistic and cultural movements of Lima nowadays. This movement has a close relationship between public and scenic space. For this reason, traditional typologies were not compatible with the needs of the project. So it was decided to create multipurpose spaces that can host training, production and promotion of scenic activities such as Dance, Theatre and Acrobatics, and at the same time prioritize the connection between environment and public. The environment and topography are both parameters and active parts of the project. The location in the extension of "Paseo Fiteca", an urban axis where varied scenic activities take place, marks a strong direction that seeks to invite the pedestrian flow into the interior of the project. On the other hand, the presence of a hill and a pair of water tanks within the limits of the land, represent landmarks in the urban context that are also decisive elements in the architectural approach.

    El Equipamiento Turístico, Vitivinícola y Arqueológico es un proyecto ubicado en el Valle de Pisco, en la provincia de Ica. El enfoque principal es lograr a través del proyecto una reactivación de la zona, hoy venida a menos en cuanto a la producción vitivinícola y una puesta en valor del legado arqueológico de la zona y de la bio- diversidad. Como énfasis arquitectónico, el proyecto se basa en la reinterpretación de la tipología arquitectónica existente de edificaciones incaicas en el valle para una mejor integración con su contexto natural, en una arquitectura contemporánea que rescate las cualidades únicas del lugar.

    The project consists of a Training and Dissemination Center in the city of Cusco. Its main focus is to rescue the values of textiles, as well as the traditional architecture of the city through a place of easy accessibility and interaction for the local and tourist population. The city of Cusco, one of the most significant regions in terms of textile development, was chosen as the site of the project because of its great cultural diversity. Given the high demand for handicraft products and the lack of cultural equipment, the opportunity is presented to implement a new infrastructure where it contributes to the development of the textile process and is also in harmony with the environment.

    Nowadays, the interest for the Scenic Arts has increased in the country. Nevertheless, this growth does not have relation with the infrastructure destined for the presentation and education of this type of art. The project takes this issue as a start to propose appropriate spaces for diffusion and formation of the scenic arts that, in addition, promote the relation between the student and the spectators. Likewise, one tries to integrate the building with the city in contraposition to the modals of national infrastructure analyzed.
