Soluciones adaptativas de tecnologías de información y comunicación en computadoras y dispositivos móviles para personas con discapacidad

Abstract

Nowadays, there is a great quest for social inclusion of all people within the country. Part of this inclusion also considers people who have a disability that hinders them from perform common activities of daily life. The search for a greater participation of this population has been further boosted with the statement of the Law No. 29973, Law of Persons with Disabilities, which promotes the inclusion of this people, which represents nearly 6% of the total population of Peru, in the political, economic, social, cultural and technological aspects. This creates the need to know and find out what options are on the market to ease the adaptation and inclusion of these people in the various aspects mentioned and to enhance their lifestyle. This research wants to know what technologies and solutions exist on computers and mobile devices that meet the needs of people with disabilities by adapting the equipment to facilitate its use by any person that may have different deficiencies, not only facilitating their access to these tools, but by adding new features that could even improve their quality of life and independence. Also, with the information obtained, the research also seeks to propose new adaptive solutions in these Information and Communication Technologies with the base of what has been developed internationally, creating opportunities of development of new solutions.

En esta investigación se quiere llegar a conocer qué tecnologías y soluciones existen en las computadoras y dispositivos móviles que atienden las necesidades de las personas con discapacidad mediante la adaptación de estos equipos para que faciliten su uso ante las diferentes deficiencias que pueda tener una persona, no solamente facilitando su acceso a estas herramientas, sino agregándoles funcionalidades que podrían inclusive mejorar su calidad de vida e independencia. Asimismo, con la información obtenida, también se busca proponer nuevas soluciones adaptativas en estas tecnologías de información y Comunicación según la visión de lo que se ha desarrollado internacionalmente, lo que crea nuevas oportunidades de desarrollos de soluciones.
