Positive psychology´s interventions in older adults: a systematic reviewAbstract
The aim of this systematic review was to examine the evidence of intervention programs from Positive Psychology aimed at populations of adults over 60 years of age and where the authors coincide with their proposal from Positive Psychology. For the review were used the databases Scopus, Web of Science, Scielo, Redalyc and Dialnet, including interventions with an experimental group and a control group, published in English or Spanish. Eight investigations were included, and it was shown that all reported significant results, with amplitude of the effect at moderate levels and whose results point to a decrease in hopelessness or depressive symptomatology, level of worry or anxiety and improvements in levels of satisfaction, mood and optimism.
