La presente investigación, tuvo como objetivo principal determinar la relación entre el liderazgo transformacional y la innovación en las Mypes del rubro de regalos personalizados durante la pandemia COVID-19, Lima 2020-2021. El presente tema fue elegido ya que se observó un rápido crecimiento de la demanda para este rubro relativamente nuevo. Se procedió a realizar una investigación de tipo no experimental - transversal, de alcance correlacional y de enfoque cuantitativo. La muestra constó de 344 emprendimientos del rubro regalos personalizados. Se empleó un cuestionario de 20 preguntas para analizar la primera variable Liderazgo Transformacional, esta encuesta fue tomada de los autores Bass y Avolio (1995); para el caso de la segunda variable Innovación, se utilizó un cuestionario de 54 preguntas de los autores Rao y Weintraub (2012). En cuanto a la hipótesis general, se obtuvo que si existe una relación entre el liderazgo transformacional y la innovación. En cuanto a las hipótesis específicas 1, 2 y 3, se obtuvo que existe una relación positiva fuerte entre las dimensiones influencia idealizada, motivación inspiradora, estimulación intelectual con la variable innovación. En cuanto a la hipótesis específica 4, se obtuvo que existe una relación positiva moderada entre consideración individualizada y la variable innovación. En conclusión, se logró validar el objetivo principal, la variable liderazgo transformacional sí se relaciona de forma positiva con la innovación en las Mypes del rubro de regalos personalizados durante la pandemia COVID-19, Lima 2020-2021.The main objective of this research was to determine the relationship between transformational leadership and innovation in the Mypes of the personalized gift industry during the COVID-19 pandemic, Lima 2020-2021. This topic was chosen because of the rapid growth of the demand for this relatively new sector. The research was non-experimental - cross-sectional, correlational in scope and quantitative in focus. The sample consisted of 344 enterprises in the sector of personalized gifts. A questionnaire of 20 questions was used to analyze the first variable Transformational Leadership, this survey was taken from the authors Bass and Avolio (1995); for the second variable Innovation, a questionnaire of 54 questions from the authors Rao and Weintraub (2012) was used. As for the general hypothesis, it was found that there is a relationship between transformational leadership and innovation. As for the specific hypotheses 1, 2 and 3, it was found that there is a strong positive relationship between the dimensions idealized influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, and the innovation variable. As for specific hypothesis 4, it was found that there is a moderate positive relationship between individualized consideration and the innovation variable. In conclusion, the main objective was validated: the transformational leadership variable is in a positive way related to innovation in the Mypes of the personalized gifts sector during the COVID-19 pandemic, Lima 2020-2021.
