The project is developed to cover the needs that hospitals do not cover, it seeks to provide emotional support throughout the process that leads to cancer patients, survivors, friends and family members who face the disease. The present research project raises the configuration of architecture as the main instrument of healing. The psychological center is configured as a complementary architecture to the INEN (National Institute of Neoplastic Diseases), a hospital with more than 70% of reported cases of cancer in recent years. Located a few blocks from the hospital in a land of three fronts, easy pedestrian and vehicular access in the district of San Borja. The project is detached from the metaphor that represents the hospital architecture designed as a white rationalist cube, which represents only purity, health and hygiene. The center adds to this the metaphors of the body and human relations, proposes an architecture linked to the home and the relationship with green spaces.
