Market and Gastronomic BoulevardAbstract
After an extense research of the current situation of the “Producer’s Market” in San Isidro (Mercado de Productores), it could be easily identified the lack of cunningness were as the privileged location of the project in relation to Lima’s seaside. The present project has as an objective to develop an in between space between the district of San Isidro and the sea. As a result the market will be an important gastronomic landmark that encourages the coexistence among nature and the project users. In the same line of thought, the proposal takes advantage of the abandoned adjacent piece of land, that used to be the deposits of garbage of the district of San Isidro, to develop a gastronomic boulevard that binds together San Isidro’s sports center, the “Malecón of the Costa Verde” and the new Market.
