Según la Organización Mundial de Salud, en el Perú, la anemia es un problema de salud pública grave que afecta principalmente a los niños. Una de las principales causas de la anemia, es la deficiencia de hierro en la alimentación. La prevalencia es de 43.6%, es decir 1 de cada 2 niños tiene anemia, agudizándose esta situación en los niños menores de un año (60%). Existen muchos estudios de investigación que demuestran que las consecuencias son irreversibles y afectan el desarrollo cognitivo, social y emocional. El estado trata de revertir esta situación, pero los esfuerzos no son suficientes. Según cifras oficiales, en los últimos nueve años, sólo ha disminuido en 6.8%. Este escenario se hace más crítico sino se garantiza saneamiento básico, disponibilidad de los alimentos y si el consumo de hierro es menor a su requerimiento. Utilizando la herramienta Experiment Board se validó que existe una preocupación de las madres por la alimentación y tratan de prevenir la anemia en sus hijos. El modelo de negocio resulta atractivo porque pone a disposición un producto nutritivo, rico en hierro hemínico, agradable y fácil de adquirir. Nuestro producto ChiKipunch es un mousse con ingredientes naturales, cuyo insumo principal es la sangre de pollo, que es el alimento con mayor cantidad de hierro. Durante los primeros años se tercerizará el servicio de produccción, pero a partir del tercer año nos encargaremos de la producción y año a año se innovará la fórmula secreta, el empaque y las presentaciones.According to the World Health Organization, the anemia in Peru is a serious public health problem that affects in special to the children. One of the main causes of anemia is iron deficiency in the food. The prevalence is 43.6%, this means, one of each every two children have anemia. This problem enphasize in children under one year old (60%). There are many studies that show the consequences are irreversible and affect cognitive, social and emotional development. The state tries to reverse this situation, but efforts are not enough. The official numbers show in the last nine years it has only decreased by 6.8%. This scenario becomes more critical if not secure the basic sanitation, availability of food and if iron consumption is less than its requirement. Using the Experiment Board tool validated that there is a concern of mothers for food and try to prevent the anemia in their children. The business model is attractive because it provides a nutritive product, rich in heminic iron, enyojable and easy to get. Our product ChiKipunch is a mousse with natural admixtures and the main ingredient is the blood of chicken, which is the food with the highest quantity of iron. During the first years the production service will be outsourced, but on the third year the company we will in charge of the production. Likewise, year by year the secret formula, the packaging and presentations will be innovated.
