Describir la relación entre la resiliencia y satisfacción con la vida en adultos mayores que asisten a Centros del Adulto Mayor de Lima Metropolitana. El estudio se realizó en 151 adultos mayores, hombres (N= 46) y mujeres (N=105), con edades que fluctúan entre 60 a 91 años de edad (M= 74.86) los cuales acuden a 4 Centros del Adulto Mayor. Los instrumentos utilizados para responder al objetivo principal fueron la escala de Resiliencia (CD-RISC) de Serrano, Garrido, Notario, Bartolomé, Solera y Martínez (2012); y la escala de “Satisfacción con la vida” de Martínez (2004). Entre los resultados se obtuvo una relación positiva y significativa entre los factores de resiliencia y el nivel de Satisfacción con la vida. Esto evidencia que la resiliencia, promueve la percepción de satisfacción con la vida de los adultos mayores.Describe the relationship between resilience and satisfaction with life in older adults who attend centers of the elderly people in Lima Metropolitan. The study was carried out in 151 older adults, men (N = 46) and women (N = 105), with ages ranging from 60 to 91 years old (M = 74.86) who attend 4 Centers for the elderly people. The instruments used to respond to the main objective were the scale of Resilience (CD-RISC) of Serrano, Garrido, Notary, Bartolomé, Solera and Martínez (2012); and the "Satisfaction with life"; scale of Martínez (2004). Among the results it was found a significant positive relationship between the factors of Resilience and the level of Satisfaction with life. This means that, the resilience promotes the perception of satisfaction with the life of the elderly people.
